Why the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer?

Price or payments

Thousands less than other cars I looked at with comparable features. Was interested in a car with paddle shifting. Looked at Acura TSX, Lexus IS 250, Mazda 6 and others. Got car for under dealer invoice.

Feature availability

Paddle shifting without having to put the car in "manual" mode. Climate control. Bluetooth. Trip computer. Proximity key. Flood lights. All features that the Civic SI did not have while costing less.

Powertrain performance

Good balance of power and economy. Good driver car for a commuter. Do not miss the Civic SI after months of ownership. Paddle shifting is quick and crisp.

Reliability & durability

More solid off the lot than the Civic SI. Car feels built very well. Very impressed with Mitsubishi and still amazed that this car is only 22k.

Fuel economy

Uses regular gas and gets about 30 mpg. My Civic SI was getting about the same but used premium.
