Why not this car? 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Pros and Cons ninjacoco 168 hp is adequate. Just enough. There is very little torque steer, and it's a torquey enough motor to be fun out of the box. I enjoy the fact that Mitsubishi lets their CVT be a CVT--no fake gear shifting unless you put it into paddle shifter mode... |
2013 Mitsubishi Lancer GT Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The big grille and wing spoiler promise thrilling performance. This isn't the 291-horsepower Evo or even the 237-horsepower Lancer Ralliart, though. With a 168-horsepower 2.4-liter engine, the Lancer GT isn't blazingly quick. But it's quicker than any other compact you can buy for the price, getting to 60 mph in... Comparison vehicle: 2013 Dodge Dart |

2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Pros and Cons Member5132 I don't expect much out of entry-level cars but the base engine is 152 hp and performs great. Originally I thought the CVT engine was loud but it is still quieter than the Focus or Corolla. Accelerates great and easily gets around slow moving traffic. |

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Pros and Cons Member5093 I came off of a 220+ Hp 6-cyl car that was 6sp sport transmission. This I4 is quite anemic at 148 HP in comparison. The CVT is different in acceleration profile and inherently smooth. I went for MPG over fun. I miss the get up and go. |

2006 Mitsubishi Lancer / Evolution Pros and Cons Member5026 The motor seems tame until you hit ahoy 2800 rpm. The boost starts kicking in there and it turns into an all wheel drive rocket. The 6speed is easy to navigate although the gears are a bit to close together. |

2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Pros and Cons Member4501 Good balance of power and economy. Good driver car for a commuter. Do not miss the Civic SI after months of ownership. Paddle shifting is quick and crisp. |

2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Pros and Cons Member3204 The CVT transmission loses a LOT of power between the crank and the wheels and leaves very little in the way of performance options for the automatic driver. |

2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Pros and Cons Member2805 The 168hp engine is not to be compared to the evos 291hp engine but it is a nice compromise between performance and fuel economy. |
