Thousands less than other cars I looked at with comparable features. Was interested in a car with paddle shifting. Looked at Acura TSX, Lexus IS 250, Mazda 6 and others. Got car for under dealer invoice.

20084dr Sedan 152-horsepower 2.0L I4

I paid $19,500 for a fully loaded Lancer GTS - easily beating what that could have cost me in a fully-loaded Civic (with less features).

At the time Aug. 2009 I paid out the door $30,500 canadian, no flexibility in price negotiations but to be fair it was new to Canada.

Nothing, but would of bought instead if I knew they were going to offer 0% financing a month later.

20094dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6

I was able to negotiate a very reasonable price on this pilot. This made the payments very reasonable compared to many comperable SUVs.
20084dr SUV 244-horsepower 3.5L V6
5-speed automatic AWD
with the knee jerk reaction against SUVs in US made many SUVs affordable. Pilot was unfairly clubbed clubbed with all the gas guzzlers and that made some very good deals possible.
20074dr SUV 244-horsepower 3.5L V6

I paid about $2,000.00 less for the Pilot than a comparably equipped Highlander.

It feels like a solid car. I have only had one thing wrong with it, and that was the fuel pump getting stuck. It was replaced under warranty though.

2011 4dr Hatch 148-horsepower 2.0L I4

Its rattles have rattles. And those rattles have buzzes. It sounds like the interior is going to self destruct under low RPM.
2009 4dr Sedan 168-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed manual FWD
the plastic trim pieces around the doors and the arm rest area look and feel cheap but then again the car is pretty cheap to start with.

Well that is the same thing as relibility
2008 4dr Sedan turbocharged 291hp 2.0L I4

Not bad, better than my last Dodge but could be better still.

Typical Honda build where things fit like they should: small or no gaps, controls well engineered, you get quality usually found a notch or two higher in cost class.

Just way too many creeks and rattles. Everything shakes and shimmies. I went through the car wash and the rear hatch filled up with water and had to be drained. The weather stripping and plastic body pieces between front window and hood are horrid.
2010 4dr SUV 250-horsepower 3.5L V6

Very plastic, large dash. could have used some aluminum. Not up to snuff for Hondas most expensive vechical ( Touring)
2004 0 We love our Honda pilot but after having it out in the rain and getting a large puddle of water at your feet from poor workmanship and sealing. We will not be buying another Honda because the dealers refuse to rectify the faulty workmanship. Hundreds of other people have the same issue as seen on all message boards on this problem. All it would take is for honda to take the fender off and seal seams and holes left open in assembly. I plan to do it myself because they want to charge you 300 for repair. Should have been a recall on this issue due to the fact mold and mildew can build up and cause medical issues down the road if left too long. And for the amount of people with this same issue.
