Introduction

Car has just under 16K miles. Really enjoy driving this car daily since my other daily driver (the 2005 Toyota Prius) has been passed on to my teen. The Prius was woefully underpowered compared to the Altima. The Altima has plenty of oomph on demand when I need it and the CVT responds to the throttle quickly - not sure why others complain about a rubber band feel. Not with this specific car that's for sure.

Has never been back to a dealership since the day I bought it (I avoid recalls unless the repair is absolutely necessary and mandatory). Great fuel economy in the summer and adequate but not great in the winter. No mechanical problems - no check engine lights or other gremlins. No leaks, rattles, or squeaks.

Keep an eye on the CVT for possible vibration issues. Its a well documented problem and leads to complete failure.
