The CVT transmission had a catastrophic failure. It was replaced with under 1k miles on the car. At the first visit, they just cleared the CEL and said it was fine, although when the CEL came on the car lost power and couldn't even climb a hill... The trip reported in April was followed by a trip two days later, in which they had the car for 5 business days to replace the transmission. It was 'successful' the second time, as it took a few months for the new transmission to fail again.
