Why the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder?

Ride smoothness

Picked up my new 2013 Pathfinder on Monday night and took a trip the next day of around 450 miles. This is my fourth Pathfinder and is absolutely the smoothest riding car that I have ever owned. We had five grown-ups in the car plus some gear and the ride was excellent! Very comfortable.

Fuel economy

My first trip consisted of mostly highway driving in Texas. Speeds varied from 60 to 75 mph on the highway with very little in-town driving. Overall average was around 23.7 mpg (Calculated) which agreed very closely with the on-board computer. I am hoping that the mpg will increase as the car is broken in more.

Exterior styling

This is one of the primary reasons that I came back to the Pathfinder. I never did care for the chiseled look of the 2009 - 2012 models.

Why Not the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder?

Audio & nav systems

Audio is great on this vehicle, but I still prefer the Garmin Nuvi interface functions on my portable GPS. The Nissan OEM Nav seems to work OK, but not perfect.
