Timing Chain Buzzing away when pressing on the accelerator pedal, Got the Cloyes Kit from Rock Auto that included all timing chains, tensioners, gears, and new water pump (timing chain driven unfortunately). When pulled the timing chain cover off, found secondary tensioner on passenger side wore right through, the driver's side had worn badly, but not through. secondary chains had excess slack (play), buzzing sound was the tensioner metal plunger that sits behind the plastic chain guide wore right through, metal to metal plunger to chain noise. Now fixed, hopefully lasts another 500,000 kms. Chain was in really good condition, with no chain stretch at all. Remember when doing this job, please follow Nissan's procedure in installing the power steering pump properly. Or you'll get belt noise from that area.
