Great four wheel drive, reasonable price, very good features. I also like the looks of the 3rd gen.
It is high up, more truck like and in rural Alberta, that is a good thing. In the winter, it means you can see further down the road and prepare for avoidances if required. In the summer, you can see past the caravans and motor homes on the hiway.
The Pathy runs about 10% cheaper than the Toyota ForeRunner, which is an excellent vehicle, but comes at a premium price. I think the PF runs 99% of the Toyota longevity, and about 95% of the fit and finish. This makes it a better buy in my eye
I bought from a GM dealer, and they put in a new windshield, new tires, and replaced the brakes. They also offered the best price, and a 3 month no obligation exchange if I was unhappy with the truck.
