I drove fast, all the time, and still averaged 28mpg.
Comfortable, looks awesome (with leather), easy to clean, no complaints.
Responsive, hugged the road very well- even in rain. The stock pirelli tires were kinda lame though- I was much happier with the michelins that I put on later.
It was pretty peppy, but certainly no speed monster. Honestly this was the least impressive part, but the transmission and engine worked well together. The powerband was easy to find when downshifting. I was only short power when racing a Jetta 1.8t.
