30000 mi   with cruise control on, car would accel even if not on a hill, but while tach shot up, car itself did not move any faster. trans appeared to "slip." later, trans was stuck in first and second, but after shutting engine off and restarting, problem only app dealer replaced valve and channel plate for previous transmission problem, new valve was defective. had to be replaced a second time.
