Why the 2009 Pontiac Vibe?

Fuel economy

I have gotten as low as 28 mpg and as high as 36 mpg. I like the fact that it is doing this well without being a hybrid.

Interior styling

All the controls are ergonomically placed, in easy reach and well marked. There are storage pockets everywhere.

Why Not the 2009 Pontiac Vibe?

Ride smoothness

They were trying to make this a sport car it seems to me. The rims that come on the base model are 16" and you get low profile tires. Then they recommend you keep the tire inflated 20psi lower than what the tire mfr recommends. I see early tire replacemen

Rear seat room & comfort

There is no rear seat room or comfort unless you are a less than 5 ft tall child.

Price or payments

Overall, I think the Vibe is overpriced. But then so is every other car on the market. That is what happen when the government bails out private companies when they make poor business decisions.

Audio & nav systems

The radio/cd player itself is fine. The speakers installed at the factory are horrible however. They will sound great on the show room floor, but with in a few months, will degrade in sound quality.
