Great highway mileage with 1.8L VVT-i engine. City mileage is acceptable for my needs - lots of short trips.

About as good as it gets for what I describe as a mini-SUV. EPA rated 28/33 at the time. I get 25-26 mpg in driving that is mostly city; on trips 31-32 mpg going 65-70.

29 mpg... and I cane the poor thing frequently. It would probably do a little better if I drove it sensibly.

I get anywhere from 32 to 34 MPG highway in this little beauty! It saved my butt through skyrocketing gas prices during the summer of 2008.
