Why the 2007 Pontiac Vibe?

Fuel economy

Pulling a small trailer for my business @ 35 m.p.g. makes a difference. The car is very economical to drive.

Interior styling

Room to spare and feels bigger than it looks. Plenty of storage features and easy to use controls.

Price or payments

At $6,000 less than the Toyota Matrix, it is a TRUE bargain. After all, it is essentially the same vehicle with a Pontiac badge on it.

Handling

Sticks to the road well, has just enough power to propel it safely on the road without having to beat it to death.

Cargo capacity

Storage compartments abound. Nets, a vinyl rear deck shelf and rear seats that fold flat (as does the right front passenger seat back - so you can use it as a table) along with the cargo rails make this a versatile choice. There is a trailer hitch, too.

Why Not the 2007 Pontiac Vibe?

Exterior styling

Plain. The Matrix has better color choices and rim combinations.

Safety & braking

No ABS or traction control and the rear brakes are still "drum" style.
