2008 4dr Wagon turbocharged 210hp 2.0L I4

Better than 30 mpg on long trips, even with 75+mph average speeds as reported by the onboard computer. Fantastic given the performance available. see full Saab 9-3 review

2008 4dr Sedan turbocharged 210hp 2.0L I4

Very good considering the power. I average 32mpg doing mostly highway. I cruise at 75mph and like to rev the engine in the city. see full Saab 9-3 review
2008 4dr Wagon turbocharged 210hp 2.0L I4

Lots of variations on fuel economy as you can read. Driving style will make a big difference, using a lot of engine power uses gas, no way around that. Try to cruise between 1800-2300rpm, it gives good results. Cars have improved a lot in the last years, no way a 7 year old design can match a 2015 model. But It comes close! see full Saab 9-3 review
2008 4dr Sedan turbocharged 210hp 2.0L I4

I have been a tad disappointed in my newest car's fuel economy. My tuned to 340 hp 1995 Saab 900 SE was getting 29 mpg in mixed city/highway driving. Currently I am driving 75% city and suburban surface streets and the rest highway. This must explain my rather pedestrian 23 mpg current average. I did get 33 mpg on a fast long road haul to the east coast. see full Saab 9-3 review

Over 30 mpg highway if you set the cruise to the speed limit. see full Saab 9-3 review
2007 4dr Sedan turbocharged 210hp 2.0L I4

25 to 30 mpg on regular gas, depending on how many highway miles per tank. This is my first car that takes regular in more than ten years, at least $0.20 a gallon cheaper than premium. see full Saab 9-3 review
