A member from Illinois, United States Best Reason to Buy the Saturn ION: Reliability & durability This car starts even in the coldest weather (Chicago area) and runs smoothly, even after almost a quarter MILLION miles of driving it on bumpy Illinois roads! I sure wish they still made Saturn's so I could buy another one. Best Reason Not to Buy the Saturn ION: Warranty, scheduled maintenance cost It is sometimes difficult to get air filters and other routine maintenance parts for this car. Not enough leg room when the front seats are set back and not enough foot room. There is a metallic bar on the bottom of the front seats that take too much space in the foot wells for the back passengers. Overall I like the style of this car. in my opinion the refreshing of the front end that was done for the 2005 models gave the ION a more updated look .
