2008 | 4dr SUV 257-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed automatic FWD |
No problems at all in almost 20K miles, my 2004 Vue went 120K with only a fuel Tank sender problem. see full Saturn review |
2008 | 4dr SUV 257-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
I have had the vehicle over one year now and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. I have almost 26,000 Kilometers on the vehicle - 3 oil and filter changes (the next one is not due for about 2 months). see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr Sedan 140-horsepower 2.2L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
Low maintenance required just oil changes and rotate tires. No damage to the car that I know of from hitting a tire and rim @ 65mph on the hwy. Had to purchase new rim, hubcap and tire. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr SUV 288-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Have had no problems after one year of ownership. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr Coupe 140-horsepower 2.2L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
Just that -- a car I can get into and know it will start and reliably get me from a to b. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr SUV 172-horsepower 2.4L I4 Hybrid 4-speed automatic FWD |
Only one problem since purchase which was covered under warranty. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr Coupe 140-horsepower 2.2L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
Very durable engine, but sub par interior materials. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr Sedan 170-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed manual FWD |
Plastic panels mean no rust and no fear for dents. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr Coupe 140-horsepower 2.2L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
We have only owned the Ion for a few months so I cannot comment on the reliablilty yet. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr SUV 257-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed automatic FWD |
Caution to prospecive buyers and current owners: we had a minor traffic accident that would have been $3000 to repair, but because the car and specific repair parts are no longer made, the car had to be totaled.
It had been a great car reliable, dependable, with only one major repair to replace the air conditoning compressor in 4+ years we owned it. Very sad as it had been a good car and got decent gas milage.

2009 | 4dr SUV 288-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
Not a proven product, brand name is mediocre, although styling is great, I was looking for something that will last me over 10 years with minimal expenses. see full Saturn review |
2008 | 4dr SUV 288-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
At 80,000 miles, had to replace throttle body. At 112,000 miles, transmission complete failure. Replaced at dealership. Cost was $4000. At 115,000 miles, purge canister valve failure. Car would not start after putting gas in. Replaced for $30 (not by mechanic) At 116,000 miles, power steering failure. Replaced power steering pump for $135. At 116,000 miles, front struts need to be replaced. see full Saturn review |
2008 | 4dr Sedan | I believe it comes down to how well owners maintain their AURA. Get the niggly things taken care of by the dealer under warranty as soon as they pop up. Do routine maintenance and, overall, the AURA should do very well. After 5 years of AURA ownership, I feel more confident that the AURA will hold up equally as well as our 3 Hondas have over the past 30 years. see full Saturn review |
2008 | 4dr Sedan 219-horsepower 3.5L V6 4-speed automatic FWD |
Several problems in the first month of ownership see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr Sedan | Reliability on my AURA has been horrific. The power steering system has a design flaw in the intermediate steering shaft. I also have water leaks into the interior and a sluggish transmission. Currently pursuing lemon law for a buyback or compensation. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr Sedan 219-horsepower 3.5L V6 4-speed automatic FWD |
Saturn has a checkered history. I was largely willing to give GM the benefit of the doubt. But the saturnfans web site did introduce some notes of caution- I had the sense GM rushed the car into production a bit soon. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr Sedan | Continuing problems with the steering linkage failures has me wondering about the overall mechanical quality of the vehicle. see full Saturn review |
2007 | 4dr Sedan | several problems had to be fixed under warranty. this is a first year vehicle. see full Saturn review |
