Traction control malfunction, lights came on, fuel was cut off, wheels locked up. I turned off Traction Control, drove it to the dealer. They couldn't find problem, recalibrated Sensor and it's been fine since.
Parking brake was partially stuck. It was adjusted.
Parking brake cable had way too much play in it, making the handle very loose.
All indicator lights went on simultaneously and
stayed on. TSB indicating loose/broken wire to the ABS system. I was told ABS might go out but that regular brakes would continue to work. ABS never went out. They replaced ABS hub and sensor wire.
Caliper slider froze up on rear wheels, burning the brake rotors
The ABS sensor went out on left/front, shutting down ABS and anti-skid controls. Decided to not have repaired at this time due to cost (est. $600.00). Found out that dashboard display will NOT show ABS is out if it is out longer than a day!
Brake cable froze up causing rear disc caliper to seize upon rear disc in sub freezing weather. Replaced with 2009 brake cable.
Sliding pin on caliper was stuck, causing brake pads to wear unevenly and quickly. Replaced rear brake pads & hardware.
VSC,ABS,trac off,Brake lights came on dashboard after a light snowfall. Mechanic test drove, put the car on the lift and checked sensors - and the lights on the dashboard turned off.
VSC,ABS,trac off,Brake lights came on dashboard again, after a heavy rain. Lights were on all weekend. Dropped car off Monday morning and lights were still on. When the mechanic started the car later, no lights were on so no repair attempted
