I had written a letter to the president of Subaru of America telling him how miserable driving the car on the highway was. I was contacted by a "Team Leader Customer Retailer Services." A Field Service Engineer drove my car and with some instrumentation determined that the noise level was only 2 decibels higher than a 2015 model. That was basically an admission that there is wind noise and SOA has some notion of what is "normal." And ridiculous! The application of the TSBs was the decision of the the dealer Customer Service Manager. I have nothing bad to say about the car, but the wind noise.

Driver's seat leather and padding wore through, creating a hole in the leather. Neither us or the dealership could figure out why this happened and so they replaced the leather seat cover (including foam seatback).

Sunroof and power lock system died. Subaru at first did not want to pay for the repairs. After I threatened a law suit, the dealership put in a new sunroof motor and seals along with replacing the power door modulator. Their cost >$3400.
My Subaru has a leak where water gets into one of the brake light fixtures. I recently needed to replace not only the bulb, but also the entire socket assembly for one of the lights.
Had to replace the housing of the front lights - technical control in Belgium (yearly event) refused them. Had become a little dirty inside (and lens had tiny scars), which lead to light which was too diffuse (cannot be opened, had to be replaced).
