A User's Review: The best car they stopped making. 2019 Mazda Mazda6 Pros and Cons michaelz08 The Legacy has a larger trunk, no qualms there. --- Worth noting is the Mazda6's very wide rear-seat fold-down opening, larger trunk opening (due to its older design), and that Mazda had the thoughtfulness to both cover the trunk hinges in a plastic shrowd and provide a trunk-lid handle... Surprisingly good and underconsidered. Giving regular and premium brands a run for their money. 2021 Subaru Legacy Pros and Cons michaelz08 The trunk isn't the most nicely finished in terms of carpet quality, but the hinges are at least covered and will not crush cargo. The opening is somewhat small, but the capacity is large and the seats fold down with a well-sized opening. ---
A complaint that applies... Comparison vehicle: 2020 Honda Accord |

I haven't towed with it, but unlike other compact cars I actually can tow and with the diesel's torque I would... Comparison vehicle: 2010 Subaru Legacy |

2005 Subaru Legacy Pros and Cons Member3105 I love having the wagon vs a cuv/suv. Subaru was the really the only offer in this price range...alas they no longer have it accept for the Outback. |

2005 Subaru Legacy Pros and Cons Member36 Cargo capacity is excellent for a small car. We do not tow with it. |

2006 Subaru Legacy Pros and Cons Member2608 One of the only reliable true wagons available in the U.S. Plenty of room for cargo, especially with the easy to fold rear seats. |

2008 Subaru Legacy Pros and Cons Member656 Because of the AWD system sitting under the trunk, the trunk floor is actually quite high, limiting capacity. |

2005 Subaru Legacy Pros and Cons Member439 The rear seat needs to fold down; Subaru fixed this in later model years. |

2005 Subaru Legacy Pros and Cons Member440 The roomy wagon cargo area is great for taking our 50-lb bull terrier in her travel kennel without having to fold down a seat. |
