25420 mi Transmission does not shift properly constantly down shifting to just below red line on even small hills VERY UN HAPPY  Same transmission problem. They need to re-flash the computer for better shift points but they will not.. Suzuki sent down factory rep, or area rep I was told they all do that. Transmission does not shift properly constantly down shifting to just below red line on even small hills This motor will never survive such a poorly programed automatic shift point
90520 mi

C $545

2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara 4-door

6-cylinder manual AWD

28520 mi I have officially bought a lemon, and have hired a lawer. There are not enough things for me to pick from. In a nutshell, the rear end drivetrain and transmission is no good and the motor is rattle pinging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
40300 mi New transmission was installed, and works better. But I know from oil anlysis tests that the transfer case has a high content of iron 164 and the oil is burnt. I told Suzuki that it was leaking and the gear shift is still vibrating. I'm being ignored now!
40300 mi Suzuki took away my last two years of warranty, so therefore I traded it off. And I am so much happier now. They are not a nice company to deal with. I wouldn't recommend this company to any one!
