I noticed that when I put the car in reverse, especially at high idle when the engine is cold there would be a clunk. Years ago this happened and it was a tie rod end. Sure enough same thing this time. They found wear on both inner tie rods. Was getting check engine light for catalytic converter efficiency, luckily turned out to be downstream O2 sensor out of range. The cruise control mostly stopped working, would turn on, but not set. worked once and awhile. Shop could find no problem because it worked for them. They cleaned all connections. Still have intermittent problem with it. Update: the cruise was never repaired, but mostly resolved itself. Just once in a great while it wouldn’t set. My headlight lenses were very clouded. The shop offers a service where they polish the lenses and then spray a clear coat and bake it on like a paint job, supposed to stay clear that way. Looks great, what a difference in night vision! |
