After doing careful research and test driving four vehicles, I chose the Camry as a default selection. Really wishing I had arranged a weekend test drive instead of a twenty minute test. Overall, I am underwhelmed at the handling, comfort, and quality of this vehicle -- and I have previously owned a terrific Toyota product. Next!
Back-up Camera, Blind Spot Monitor, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are fantastic.

Electronic Power Steering is a disaster in crosswinds and on grooved pavement. Car zigzags all over the highway, despite trying to control it with a light touch, and trying to not overreact to its movements.
6-speed transmission is slow to respond and often does not provide enough gusto in a high traffic merging situation.
Despite being past the initial break-in phase, this XLE model still transfers every road imperfection. Not nearly as comfortable as I anticipated.
Radio controls are awkward and distracting. Cannot perform functions by feel, touch screen is often required despite steering wheel controls. Manual radio dial knob is an awkward reach for driver. Overhead control buttons for garage opener and moonroof are too close and similar, difficult to select proper button by touch. Entune works well with my Android phone, but if radio volume is up, an incoming call comes across at startling volume. Keyless start is nice, but do not appreciate the trunk functionality with this; if your car is garaged, you must have the key in hand to access your trunk, or open the driver's door and use the manual open lever on the floorboard.
Nice ergonomic shape, but not enough padding. Leather seats feel decidedly firm after two months of ownership. Seat cushion length should be slightly longer for thigh support.
I rejected the Honda Accord and Subaru Legacy over CVT transmission concerns, though I found the handling of the Accord to be superb. Test drove the 2013 Rav4, and felt it was inferior to the previous generation in comfort and handling.
