Why the 2002 Toyota Celica?

Fuel economy

Average 33 on the highway going 80+ mph and 30 in the city on regular gas.

Reliability & durability

First major unscheduled repair was at 148000 miles.

Cargo capacity

For a car of its size, it can haul a ton of stuff. In college I once fit seven (7) kegs into the car. If you get the tow package, it can even tow a small trailer too.

Why Not the 2002 Toyota Celica?

Quietness

The GT needs a 6th gear to shut it up on the highway. 80 mph is about 4000 rpm (in VVT range)

Rear seat room & comfort

Knee and head room are non-existent. Hump in the middle of seat prevents lying down. Many have said it was the least comfortable back seat they have ever ridden in. Too little headroom for some dogs.
