Why the 2006 Toyota Corolla?

Fuel economy

The Corolla has nearly identical fuel economy of the smaller Echo/Yaris

Brand reputation & image

Toyota well known for quality and reliability

Color choices

After driving around for months, seeing how well different colors age on cars, i knew i wanted a dark grey car.

Materials & workmanship

The interior has a quality sturdy feel, with no loose or hollow plastic moldings that i've seen on other cars.

Feature availability

This was my first car with an air conditioner; i really wanted one, and i use it all the time.

Why Not the 2006 Toyota Corolla?

Front seat room

At 6'2" there is no leftover room, even with the driver's seat all the way back.

Driving position & visibility

The rear pillars make it very difficult to see while reversing.

Audio & nav systems

The sound system had no capability to handle USB storage, or an MP3 player. Had to install aftermarket stereo.
