Why the 2004 Toyota Echo?

Fuel economy

I find the fuel economy to be very satisfactory. I only drive in the city and I refuel about once every 3 weeks.

Safety & braking

Braking is good.

Price or payments

I bought my Echo used and I felt like I got a fair deal.

Reliability & durability

When I bought the car it hade just come off its initial 5-yr lease and was in very good condition. After owning it for a year the condition is unchanged. Other than oil changes and tune ups it has not required any service.

Brand reputation & image

I got a an Echo hatchback(which is available here in Canada) and I think it is attractive for an economy car. As far as the brand, Toyota Echos have a good reputation for reliability and durability, which I have found to be true so far.

Why Not the 2004 Toyota Echo?

Quietness

You have to turn the radio up if you want to hear it when you are driving on the highway.

Audio & nav systems

Audio is fine, but there is no nav system, so if you want that you are out of luck(personally I prefer to use a map).

Discounts & incentives

There were none. However, the price was reasonable, so I am happy with my purchase.
