Why the 2008 Toyota Prius?

Fuel economy

Prius does average 41 MPG for me, even in city driving with frequent stops.

Why Not the 2008 Toyota Prius?

Dealer practices

No loaner car for repairs given, key fob breaks frequently, causes problems with smart start system, unable to unlock doors with keyless remote. Takes 2 to 3 hours to program new key fob. Key fob sometimes needs to be special ordered.

Price or payments

Payments were 382 per month for 7 years, car not really worth it.

Materials & workmanship

Key fob is critical component for starting vehicle that is sensitive to heat, movement, and breaks very easily when placed on a table.
