The Prius is a great and cheap car to run! 2005 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons LectroFuel I expect this out of a hybrid, but there is no steering feel and the steering wheel doesn't feel connected to the road. It isn't very fun to drive. Also, when driving in a parking lot or when you're turning the wheels at low speed, the steering wheel is very... |

2016 Toyota Prius review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The redesigned Prius handles with significantly more precision and control. The steering remains light and nearly feedback-free, but at least it no longer feels like that of a video game. The Volt's motions feel even better controlled, but it also feels heavier and less agile, and it doesn't... Comparison vehicle: 2013 Ford C-MAX |

2016 Chevrolet Volt Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Both cars handle better than their predecessors, with very good body control, moderate lean, precise steering, and more than a hint of agility. While the Prius has improved more dramatically--it had more room for improvement--the Volt's more firmly damped suspension and weightier steering will still make it the favorite of... The car that keeps on going...and going...and going... 2005 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member5915 Handles like a wet noodle - tires & modifications can help somewhat, but it'll still be a wet noodle. |

2010 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member4707 The Prius was initially the hybrid that I wanted to buy. When I drove the Prius, the get-up-and-go was entirely missing, like it had a Star Trek Enterprise Inertia dampening system on. There was zero feel of the road, like driving a microwave oven. |

2011 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member1190 I'm not a fan of the electric steering on the Prius. It does not have a center point like other electric steering units that I've driven. The car always wants to drift side to side without having a center point. |
|
2008 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member5308 It feels like the car is very disconnected from the road. Almost insulated. Switching from the OE Goodyear tires to another brand helps. The steering is slow and completely numb. |
|
2008 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member4899 The Touring Edition is the package to get - much better handling than the soggy standard tires, springs, and shocks. No real penalty in mileage, either. |

2010 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons A member in New Jersey, United States Absolutely useless in snow. Due to weight distribution, this vehicle CANNOT maneuver in the snow at all. Other weather conditions have not caused issues. It has a fairly good turning radius, but bottoms out easily, especially on the front apron. |

2010 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member4405 Softer, floaty ride. Not fun to drive. |

2010 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member3492 Feels easier to control than the Mini, which was a bit clunky feeling. |

2010 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member3833 Sluggish on acceleration from stop. Feels heavy. |

2006 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member3657 Vague, lots of lean in turns |

2010 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member3509 The steering is so effortless, you can turn this car on a dime. |

2009 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member3208 Does corners well, backs up well. |

2005 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member393 Dead feel in the hands, occasionally wanders. Road ruts make car "flick" which is surprising feeling. |

2006 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member1515 Car is known to have poor handling. |
|
2005 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member1677 The handling is responsive and respectable. Though it does get a little dicey in a heavy wind, you get use to it. |
|
2005 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons A member in North Carolina, United States The narrow wheelbase and higher profile allow it to be pushed around somewhat in the wind. |
|
2008 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons A member in North Carolina, United States Suspension not as good as my corvette. Not that I expected it to be. |
|
2004 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons Member1632 The traction control sometimes makes it hard to quickly accelerate - which is a problem merging into fast traffic or similar situations. |
