Introduction

Between the fuel savings, low maintenance, and long life, the Prius is the cheapest car you can get.

Why the 2002 Toyota Prius?

Fuel economy

The car saves a lot of money on gas.

Warranty, maintenance cost

Because the engine is assisted by the electric motor, and the brakes are assisted by the regenerative system, this car only requires about half as much maintenance as a regular car. The continuously variable transmission is also more reliable than an automatic or manual transmission.

Quietness

We call it the Hushmobile.

Reliability & durability

It's a Toyota, so it's reliable. Just don't drive it on a lot of unpaved roads. The Prius is not designed for that.

Ride smoothness

Smooth ride.

Why Not the 2002 Toyota Prius?

Cargo capacity

You cannot haul stuff with this. That's not what it's for.
