2008 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid

2007 Toyota Prius Seat Room and Comfort: Cons

2008 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid

Seat needs more lower back support for distance driving. see full Toyota Prius review
2008 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid
CVT FWD
If you are much over 5 foot 10 inches tall, the drivers seat might get a little tight. Not much leg support either as the bottom cushion is very short. I hear the 2010 redesign helped with this. Since I use this car for not much more than an hour commute, I tolerate the seat as the rest of the car is so darn good. see full Toyota Prius review
2007 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid

no comment. We like what we have see full Toyota Prius review
2006 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid

long drives are a pain the .... well, you know. the car is not a comfortable as I would like. limited range of adjustments. Not bad for a couple of hours or even on a easy road trip but, more than 10 hours in a day? not for me. too bad. see full Toyota Prius review
2006 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid

Okay, but gets uncomfortable after an hour. No ability to change seat angle even with leather version that I had. see full Toyota Prius review

YearBody/PowertrainComment
2008 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid

Quick response, ease in handling. Did not drive Honda Civic, but rear seat was deal breaker. see full Toyota Prius review
2008 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid

It has much more acceleration power than the gas only Honda Civic. It really gets up and goes when you step on it. The electric motor has a lot of pull to it. see full Toyota Prius review

2006 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid

The Prius hybrid drive seamlessly blends the gas and electric motors to give me adaquate pick up / acceleration when needed but more than excellent fuel economy on a vehicle that is considered midsize. see full Toyota Prius review

2007 Toyota Prius Powertrain: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2008 4dr Hatch 76-horsepower 1.5L I4 Hybrid
CVT FWD
The gas engine sounds raspy when pushed hard, and if your traction battery is low you are stuck with an anemic 1.5 engine. However, on stop and go traffic the Prius is on its best and feels terrific; quiet, smooth and easy on fuel. see full Toyota Prius review
