For a 4 cyl CUV, this car had a great amount of power. It's not a speed demon or anything, but compared to the rest of the segment (CR-V, Forester, ect) it was better to my wife and I.
Ours had the back without the tire mounted, really made a difference in terms of looks. For a econobox CUV, it wasn't half bad looking in black.
My wife and I both drive with a lead foot (80 mph average on highway or more) and this car still averaged 24 mpg the whole time under our ownership (38,000 miles) according to the computer. Real world mpg readings by myself supported that figure as well.
My wife unfortunately totaled the car. The entire front end of the vehicle was crushed in and still my wife was able to drive it off the road and walk away without a scratch. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one for an instant.
