Replace leaking rear crank seal.
Vehicle was sluggish and did not feel as responsive as normal. Dealer indicated computer problem with MAF sensor.
Computer reset appears to have fixed issue.
Had to add coolant,1l/2weeks.No sign of external leaks.4 trips to dealer still no fix. Also transmission,drive shaft,left front axle,rear shocks,sunroof seal,front brake pads were replaced in the 2 years that I owned the truck.
Had to replace what is known as the pathetic charcoal filter for when a person overfills their tank. Toyota wanted 1000 just for the part!!
Radiator hose leaked. Needed new hose
Codes P0441 and P2420. Evap. emission pressure switching valve is stuck off - charcoal canister replacement. Replaced charcoal canister. Part#: 77740-0R010
Check engine and vehicle skid dash lights lit up. Took to dealership. They say that the series of OBD codes according to a TSB indicate moisture in the charcoal canister. Several parts were replaced and added.
Lights on dashboard - Trac. control, Check Engine and 4WD. Plus cruise control stopped working. Took car to dealer. Assessed the problem to be with charcoal canister, pipes, and filler-pipe. Entire system had to be replaced for $1400+!
Check engine light illuminated, along with other warning lights. My wife took the Rav4 to the dealer. They said the gas cap was not tight enough, so they tightened it. The warning lights are now out. The problem hasn't recurred.
replaced gas tank and hoses as per TSB. Check engine lights came on, as well as the 4wd light ans the cruise control didnt work through this process.
Service engine light came on as well as 4wd light. We had no cruise control either. Took to the dealer and they had to replace the gas tank and all of the lines connecting to the tank. There was a TSB on the issue.
Water pump leaking.
Noise at 40 mph especially on inclines.
Replaced noisy camshaft gears per TSB. Dealer replaced no charge even though mileage was slightly over 60,000 mile power train warrenty limit.
Pulley replacement. Noisy engine even at full stop. It happened two weeks after the 30,000 km revision.
