Exterior styling

It really looks sharp. However, in the low trim levels Toyota skimped on a cheap grill.

Powertrain performance

Excellent engine and smooth transmission - about the only major thing superior to the Odyssey (which is adequate and fine - back to back, the Sienna is better to drive).

Brand reputation & image

Toyota is still Toyota.

Controls and instruments

Some controls are hard to reach - and the touch screen nav system blocks you doing anything once the car is in park (including a passenger controlling it). Plus, every time you hit a button you have to wait a second or two for the DVD to read.
