Best Reason to Buy the Toyota Tundra: Powertrain performance
Plenty of power for towing or passing. At times the throttle can be toucy, especially in low range.

Best Reason Not to Buy the Toyota Tundra: Fuel economy
Was ok in the beginning. 18ish on the highway and 15 in mixed driving. Since adding ethonal to the gas here in VT down to about 11.5 in mixed driving.

Quick response from a full stop, smooth shifting of the 6-speed trans with no hunting on hills, trans employs engine braking without downshifting.

I come from owning cars in the past. The Tundra is fairly smooth for a truck, but not smooth like a car is.
