water pump failed on low mileage vehicle. previous complaints to Toyota about engine noise could not be found.
148734 mi

US $1300
alternator noise after 1500 rpm. This dealer said alternator need to be replaced and T-SB-0055-12 (Charging System Inoperative) does not apply. But I disagree. We had to replace battery 3 times in 2 years. This dealer did not even perform the diagnostic written in this TSB. Updated pulley assembly that was mentioned in TSB could have solved the problem. But I guess they wanted to make it bigger repair for profit.
