I like the hardtop convertible. Perfect year-round convertible for living in the midwest.

Fuel economy

For my short commute I average 25 mpg. Driving longer distances with the top up I get better than 32 mpg.

Hardtop convertible with a sunroof.

Materials & workmanship

Interior fit and finish is very good.

Rear seat room & comfort

Seat is small and okay for short trips. Adults fit okay when the top is down, access is tight witht the top up.

Cargo capacity

Very limited with the top down (as expected). No real space to carry my bicycle.

Price or payments

When you consider what you would pay for a comparably equipped Passat, you reallize the premium you are paying for the convertible top.
