36700 mi DSG clutchpacks needed to be replaced. Dealer attempted to charge me for the repair (nearly $2500) parts + labor for replacement telling me that it was a wearable item. After complaining directly to VWOA it was covered under B2B warranty. 
15000 mi DSG Mechatronics Unit Died 
7440 mi Transmission has major defect, unable to decide which gear it wants to be in on light throttle in stop-and-go traffic/low speeds. Slams into gear or no gear at all/delayed response. Put up with it for week, then returned to dealer for full-value trade. 
US $100 Steering wheel paddles fail to work intermittently 
49000 mi I never had the the paddles fixed. The problem was so infrequent (every 4 weeks or so) and the cost so high ($750) that it just wasn't worth it. 
16000 mi DSG transmission giving 'false neutrals'--i.e., indicator says it's in 3rd gear but engine just revs when you step on the accelerator. They ordered a new mechatronics unit, which hasn't arrived yet. 
19000 mi First they ordered a new mechatronics unit; problem came back quickly. Then, they did the reflash/recall; so far, so good--haven't had the false neutral since.
