Not much to see here. If you pass a wind farm in a hybrid, you're obligated to stop for photos. Note turbine-look wheels.
Good proportions. Otherwise thoroughly unremarkable. Like the larger Passat, the current Jetta appears most handsome from the rear quarter.
The luxury of perforated light gray vinyl. Very VW. Soft-touch IP shared with GLI not available in the TDI.
Most controls easy to understand and operate. Never figured out how to pair my phone, though. Power gauge in place of tach, which was missed. Nearly 50 mpg w/ cool temps and a favorable breeze.
Another screen helpfully indicates how much power the electric motor alone can provide (E-max). Power flow display on nav screen prettier, but less useful. Both indicate battery pack level.
What, you want street names? The vinyl is very much vinyl, but front seats otherwise comfortable during a long drive.
Very roomy, but could be more comfortable. Hybrid battery pack steals four cubic feet. Note the bump.
