What Our Members Are Saying about the Reliability And Durability of the Dodge Magnum

Dodge Magnum Reliability And Durability: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2005 4dr Wagon 250-horsepower 3.5L V6
5-speed shiftable automatic AWD
At 65,000 miles I have only had to do usual maintenance and change tires once, have front rotors turned to eliminate a slight shimmy (at about 40,000 miles). One minor warranty repair (two o-rings sealing an electric connection to transmission) when new. full 2005 Dodge Magnum review
Dodge Magnum Reliability And Durability: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2005 4dr Wagon 340-horsepower 5.7L V8
5-speed shiftable automatic RWD
After 230,000+ miles, the only unusual problems I have had include a HEMI "tick", defective instrument panel, and a shifter issue. The dealer replaced the head under warranty, and they picked up the price on a new instrument panel. (I had to pay the labor) I solved the shifter issue myself. If I had not had the extended warranty, my cost could have exceeded $2000.00. full 2005 Dodge Magnum review
2005 4dr Wagon 340-horsepower 5.7L V8
5-speed shiftable automatic RWD
Use of cheap components as stated above, struts, tie rod ends, power steering components, cheap interior materials full 2005 Dodge Magnum review
