This is my second Passat, and fifth Volkswagen. The Passats have been the most troublfree and reliable cars I have ever owned.
The seating position is quite flexible, and there is a lot of room for all occupants. The seats provide very good support, and you can see very well in all directions except the small blind spots in the rear quarters.
Excellent power at virtually any engine speed, and the delivery is very smooth. Plenty of torque, combined with well selected gear ratios make the car very responsive.
Excellent quality, especially considering the moderate cost of the car. Beautiful paint and upholstery, and everything fits extremely well.
The handling is excellent for a mid sized sedan. It is very easy to drive the car very aggressively, and it responds instantly to any driver input. Very rigid and stable, with an excellent suspension. A jpy to drive!
