Why the 2006 Volkswagen Passat?

Exterior styling

The car looks expensive and is different then all the other midsize sedans on the road. It looks refined.

Powertrain performance

The power is suprising for a small 4cylinder. Its very smooth and doesnt sound bad. The freeway performance is amazing. It will keep up with a mustang gt on the freeway..

Fuel economy

I get 28 combined and I live up a big big hill I drive about 60 miles a day round trip. If we go on a trip I get easily 31mpg and long trips I get 35mpg.

Reliability & durability

I have 98000 miles I have had to replace the turbo bypass valve 100bucks and thats it... just change the oil and air filter every 5 to 7k miles always use mobil 1.

Safety & braking

the car handles like a bmw with a little more sway. it is more than capable for a dd and the brakes are typical german.

Why Not the 2006 Volkswagen Passat?

Color choices

there isnt many nice colors to choose from. some are bland..

Depreciation

the car depreciated more than I expected because theyre not very popular out here.

Audio & nav systems

the stereo could have a bit more bass
