2004 Volkswagen Passat Love Letter

It's just now beginning to rust in tiny little places. The original paint job probably needs redoing, but it is very nice if you don't get into wrecks.

We plan to keep our 2001 Passat wagon as long as we reasonably can, because there is absolutely nothing else that matches the perfect size and configuration of these cars. Reliability is average at best, but these are affordable if you do your own maintenance.

Shame on VW for discontinuing the Passat wagon when they switched to domestic production. They make a great Passat wagon for the European market, and I think it could sell well in North America, if we could get our hands on it.
