Why a Tiguan? 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan Pros and Cons Member5801 For a small crossover/suv its pretty good. Went on a 400 mile round trip to the mountains (5,500ft elevation) for the weekend and back (2,00ft elevation) and averaged 26mpg. Day to day driving I get about 25.5mpg without trying to be conservative. |

2009 Volkswagen Tiguan Pros and Cons Member3421 Its OK, but could be better. I see 21-22 suburban, as much as 28 on long highway trips. Premium fuel is the bigger drawback. |
