This is my 5+ year daily driver, in all types of weather and all types of roads and simply put it is a great car and loads of fun to drive (so long as you get the turbo).
But understand parts and repairs (if needed will not be cheep)

After 5+ years of driving this car (and 94k miles) I STILL love to drive it every day. Great pick up, quite, good handling and awsome stero.

I do not have the Nav. system but the stero. is AWSOME!!
Why Not the 2008 Volvo S40?
Really not that great but part of that is I LOVE to kick in the turbo when getting on the interstate or pulling out from a stop sign.
This has been an issue do to the set up of the car tires simply do not last very long (regardless of brand), and rotating them after a certian point cause quite a bit of road noise.
Other Features of the 2008 Volvo S40
One thing to think about is what I did, special order the car and do an OSD pick up!! There is nothing quite like driving your brand new Volvo around Sweeden for a while.
