Exhaust mid section hanger support corroding badly. hadn't quite give up yet, but it was on the cards. Replaced hanger with Volvo's stainless repair kit. Much better and more secure.

Plastic link arm which controls the intake swirl flaps snapped on the engine end of the arm. New arm fitted. Also made an 'L' shaped ally bracket & rubber bump stop, to stop the arm over extending during operation, causing the breakage.

Upon am startup, msg cntr computer would say "coolant low, stop engine." Happened for several weeks but after 30 sec each time, msg quit. Took to Volvo specialist, coolant was slightly low due to cracked reservoir cap. $35 for a cap & fill
