A member from New Mexico, United States Best Reason to Buy the Volvo XC60: Powertrain performance I had considered an XC60 in 2010 and 11, but thought they were less than fun. But the 2012 R-Design with the Polestar tune is spectacular! Really great pick up with the powertrain always feeling like you're not even pushing it. Best Reason Not to Buy the Volvo XC60: Fuel economy Not that great for a cross-over SUV, but it's a relatively heavy, solid vehicle with a 6-cylinder turbo, so it's not exactly a hybrid!
