YearBody/PowertrainComment
2006 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4
4-speed automatic AWD
For a teenager that does lots of driving for parttime job and to school, needed a vehicel that was large enough to be safe in traffic, yet give good gas mileage. see full Honda Element review
2005 Honda Element Real Gas Mileage: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2005 4dr SUV 160-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed manual AWD
This is my only major gripe with the vehicle... I seem to get a consistent 22mpg, whether it is city driving, long flat highways, or mountains. If I go out of my way to drive conservatively, or use a medium-to-heavy foot with the aid conditioner, the difference is completely negligible... it's pretty much always 22mpg. see full Honda Element review
2004 4dr SUV 160-horsepower 2.4L I4
4-speed automatic AWD
20 mpg city, 24 mpg hiway, low for such a small, lightweight car. see full Honda Element review

Wish it got better fuel economy, but what do you expect for a brick? see full Honda Element review
