Reviewed: 2006 Chevrolet Aveo

4dr Sedan 103-horsepower 1.6L I4 4-speed automatic FWD

Why the 2006 Chevrolet Aveo?

Exterior styling

the 2006 was designed in italy at a prestigious design house and is a simple streamlined car.

Fuel economy

I am able to consistantly get 30 miles to the gallon while using my car on city streets

Front seat room

I am a tall guy and I can sit comfortably without having to adjust the seat very much at all

Rear seat room & comfort

As a tall guy I usually have a tough time with back seats but not in my aveo

Reliability & durability

I have been driving my car for 2 years now and have had no mechanical difficulty yet

Why Not the 2006 Chevrolet Aveo?

Brand reputation & image

This car was originally a daewoo and was bought by chevy. As an american car it seems to suffer from poor polish and image compared to the honda fit for example

Dealer practices

The chevy dealership I bought my aveo from didnt attempt to get me a low interest rate. They also didnt seem to honor their discounts

Fuel economy

The fuel economy figures for this car are below average for its class.

Materials & workmanship

It is cheap and plasticy inside without even any rubberised surfaces.

Depreciation

The depreciation curve on this car is very steap seemingly when compared to other cars in its class as well as overall
