Why the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt?

Powertrain performance

While the gearing for 1st gear is weak, the remaining gears are just right for gunning it or being slow and gentle. It is absolutely the best of both worlds when it comes to power and fuel economy.

Why Not the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt?

Rear seat room & comfort

The front is great, but you have to be in a car seat or a small person to not mind the back seat. Little legroom, small seats.

Cargo capacity

The boot is large and could potentially hold a lot of cargo, but the openings to it are too small. Larger access to the cargo areas would erase this.

Ride smoothness

It has a very firm, sport suspension, which is great for minimizing lean and G-forces in hard cornering, but stinks in smoothing out the bumps in the road. Definitely not for people that dislike unadjustable sport suspensions.
