We have driven Caravans since 1988. We had the first one 12 years with NO problems other than normal maintenance, and the second one 7 years, again nothing but regular maintenance, only trading it for the stow n go seating we now needed
Dodge has been making these vehicles longer than any other, they have much experience with these vehicles.
With the stow n go, it is extremly easy to get a huge amount of cargo room with very little physical effort, both taking down seats and putting them back, much easier than earlier models
Even the cheapest base models have 4 wheel ABS, ESP, EBA, Traction Control, FRont variable force air bags, side curtain air bags, PS, PB, Radio w/CD, but they can be loaded with just about anything you might need.
While a little too soon to tell on our 2008, we have had nothing but great luck with our previous Caravans as noted in our past personal experience comments.
