2015 Fiat 500 Abarth. 2015 Fiat 500 Pros and Cons Member4195 The driving position seems quite odd at first. The seating position is very high and upright. I acclimated easily and find that when in other cars (for example the 2014 Ford Mustang) I felt like I was sitting in a bowl. The seating position does lend itself to... |
The Fiat 500: an amazing city/commuter car, provided you can hang with the big boys on the road. 2012 Fiat 500 Pros and Cons Member6089 The car is based around a very upright seating position, almost like a bus driver. With the gearshift up high (I of course bought a manual), a relatively high steering wheel, and a vertical seatback, the result was a great view out the front. The side--not so much. The... 2012 Fiat 500 2012 Fiat 500 Pros and Cons Member5954 My car was built before the Fiat 500 was equipped with a blind spot mirror, so I had to do some careful mirror positioning to be able to safely monitor my blind spots. Visibility out front is great; back is fine too but the headrests get in the way. |

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible TDI Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh With a more upright windshield and a more compact top stack (when open), the Beetle's redesign improved outward visibility. But the convertible remains a difficult car to see out of, especially to the rear. An under-sized rearview mirror doesn't help. Rearward visibility is even worse in the Fiat, especially with... 2012 Fiat 500 Pros and Cons vstevens Visibility could be much better. When backing out, a look over your shoulder gives you a view of the rear seat head rests... I've simply removed them since I rarely have passengers in the rear seat. And with the drivers seat raised vertically all the way up, I can't see... |

Little Mocha Fiat 2012 Fiat 500 Pros and Cons Member5239 The driver's side A-pillar is huge. It blocks a lane of traffic from view. |

2013 Fiat 500 Sport- We bought 2! 2013 Fiat 500 Pros and Cons Member4195 Driving position is very "upright." Easy entry and exit to the front seats, It always felt like I was in a bowl sitting in the Mini due to its low seating position. Rear seat room is not a concern for me (or my wife, who bought one as well.) Mine has... |

2012 FIAT 500 Abarth Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Visibility through the large windows is great, and better than in the MINI (which has a smaller, more distant windshield). The driving position is the problem. As mentioned earlier, the FIAT's driver seat feels unnaturally high. Fit a rear seat large enough for adults (in a pinch) into a 140-inch-long... 2013 Chevrolet Spark LS Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The Spark's beltline dips dramatically as it approaches the mirrors, and there wasn’t enough space for designers to get swoopy with the A-pillars, so visibility to the front quarters is good. But as in the Toyota Yaris the base of the windshield is considerably higher than that of the front... Comparison vehicle: 2012 Fiat 500 |
